Doing a job in an old cottage,over-boarding lathe/plaster ceiling but top of walls are not straight and also has an inglenook fireplace. My question is,what would you recommend to fill in gap where plaster board does'nt quite meet edge around stone work?Hardwall be ok to use if brought level to the face of board and skim over?
Cheers ???

same here bonding but this helps a bit ......plant a board in the middle of the ceiling and work to the edge when youre near the edge leave the board width long but still square with the board it butts upto, temporarily fix it in place, now get a foot long piece of skim bead cut the end into a point, now with the point against the edge of the wall put a sharp pencil in one of the holes in the bead and run it along the ceiling edge this should scribe you a bit of a better fit
