finding work

Does anyone get any work through sites such as rated people.com ect. Or are they just a waste of money?

I used to know someone who used it, he's over st neots way. He got a fair amount off of it. It's a gamble tho, and not cheap in my opinion, however if your the kind of spread that can undercut almost everyone else then it can pay for itself and you a lower wage. The guy I New was a proper grafter, so he'd get the wage most blokes want but he'd have to put in more than average work and hours. The my builder thing isn't to bad, cheap fees, I had a couple of jobs from it over a year ago which played well. Just depends on whether you mind sometimes being in a queue with four other spreads pricing at 6 in the evening. I personally don't like working outside of working hours unless I'm fairly sure it's going to pay

What sort of market are you trying to hit.

Domestic, commercial

Sorry buddy, I misread the title.

Do a search on google or here, plenty of info on said sites.

I have pondered the idea in the past but decided against it due to the bad feedback and the fact that these companies IMO, scare customers into not using there own initiative when choosing tradesmen and by branding themselves as being the safest and best way to hire tradesmen.
