Love my blue plastic but struggle with the stainless blade , timings I guess , any tips

This is my first year with a speedskim , grew up doing proper 2 coat with no water apart from final edge brush
Starting to do site metres to earn my retirement
14" for poofterwrists.com lol
18" ss right through normally
I don’t think you can beat a solid trowel to finish with. I only use the blue blade after first and second coat to flatten, 2 trowels with the MT then I use either 18” nela refina or MT flex

Surely you cant finish with a speedskim sf blade, tried the pink version years ago and was rubbish so havnt tried the new design.the blue blade speedskim is one of best tools I own but only for 1st and 2nd flatten then its put away

The blue plastic seems to leave a better finish than the ss speedskim , have tried different stages but always end up going over again with the blue
