Finishing plaster over bonding

Hi all,

I've got a couple of questions regarding plastering over a layer of bonding plaster.

Should you wait for the bonding to completely dry or is it ok to wait unit its just tacky?

Should you always put pva/water over the bonding before adding the skimming layer?

When its solid enough that it won't allow your finger to poke into it then you can skim, no pva

And I'd only pva if it's been left for a few days

ask your plasterer he should inform you

you put yur finish on just as the bonding is setting.and they both set at the same time.polishes up good if ya time it right.to soon and it will blister like feck.

Throw some finish in with the bonding and it will pull in quicker :RpS_thumbup:

Is this the same ceiling as earlier thread? by yourself? if yes, maybe u need a plasterer. full stop.:RpS_wink:
