Got 1 to do tmw

Fire people came in to install new gas fire where previous coal fire was...made hole...builder asked me to make good.

The old fire place has been removed and theres a nice line to patch to...the existing is sand & cement.

Was thinking of using 13mm internal stop beads round the fire place...bonding up to them...then fitting thincoat beads on top and skimming/patching with old.

sound ok?

i'd do away with the stop bead and fit some batten and work of that then take it away then fit youre skim beads .......or if both angles have been hacked off use an angle bead mate and skim to that
