i could use pva but i just reali like that bond it..or wba

i no the matarials are high at £200 but thats £40 bond it £30 for beads..£50 fro skim £30 for S&C and £40 to take away all rubbish ..so it adds up.. iv trying 2 learn from the last few jobs iv ended up bying extra kit when iv only price for so much..

im learnin the hard way lol!

to be fair its only £450 profit to me -tax £360. 3 nice easy days a good job is done when your at a nice pace i say.. i could scrach coat and skim the room ina day if i had to but ya no.

£50 for skim, thats roughly 9 bags equalling 90m2. Must be a fair size living room or hav you got ur measurements wrong, not a dig just curious.

i normally stick between 10% and 20% on materials to pay for time and fuel etc.

over estimate..but i do lay 2 thick coats on..say 4 walls in avrage room id use 4-5 bags,,,iv said 10 bags to make the price £200 to cover the fuel ect,

In my opion mate its far to expensive, but this is my opinion...i tell ya how i would do it cheaper just as a guide for you.
Day 1. 1st Plaster chimmney breast to scratch coat stage.Set beads and pva all walls Have early lunch, then 2nd coat 2 walls with pva then skim them.Id then pva window reveals nd skim then and 1 more wall after.
Day 2.Pva all walls of chimmney breast walls (excluding chimney breast ) then skim the walls either side of breast and breast last.....Clean up and home by 1.00 latest.
For this id like to charge £500 but would accept £450 at a push.
No labourer needed for this job.
You could maybe do this job in 1 late day if the render dries quick

Fair Shout,
To be fair i could do this with out a lab, but i just find i can do a better job with one and go home happy. with out id run around all day like a t**t go home and beat the Mrs within inch's of her life. well at least give her some gip 4 no reason ha.

i do think the price is fair.
my last job i did was a H/S/L and livin room plus small room for £750 with mats!

so im tryin t make my self at least a good £150 a day with out all the stress..
