HI All

This is my first attempt on my house,

I am a trying to get some skimming work.

i have now painted these walls and ceiling and they have come up well, just a couple of low spots.

Any comments or advice please

it looks fairly good. It looks by the trowel marks that you need to work more logically and consistantly. Normally with all surfaces the i plaster, i always work from left to right (being right handed) and in a "typewriter" style fashion. I'm sure you've heard of this before. If working on a high wall then i'd use the same method but do the top half of the wall first and then the lower part. I never cross trowel when I work and only use your water bruch when you need to. Using water can pull of fat which you don't want and will tend to leave water marks in your plaster.
