First job

Cmon then how did everyone feel and get on with there first
job /jobs be honest as I'm at college and looking to get started
haha must be mad aye, advice admissions anything really guys cheers.

I never done any foreigners until i was fully trained so my advise is dont do any jobs till you know what you are doing or you will get a bad reputation and its very hard to shake off a bad reputation.

Thanks for the advice flynman I'm still learning and realise I'll
always be learning lol I'm looking to be honest
with customers and not rip them off, just scared of that first job lol
I'm doing ok in college but it's only one day a week want to find
someone to take me on but if it doesn't happen going to try and
make it on my own thanks for the good advice though appreciate it mate.

Hello Mate
It is a nervous moment when you step into someones house for the first time but what I would say is just relax and try to enjoy it, its an exciting time going on your own and your taking a step alot of people shy away from. Advice I would give is dont take on anything big for your first few jobs, no need to put yourself under any extra pressure, sheet up everywhere; tape over all skirting boards; cover doors etc as the last thing you need to be doing is spending ages cleaning up once your finished, but you need to leave the place spotless as this will get you more referals than anything, 3 days after you have finished the job call them to check everything is ok and they are happy with your work, good luck
