Hello ,very close to buying a machine g4 ritmo and a mtech 330. Have always worked krend over a sand cement scratch coat . Thing is will it pay contractor supplied materials so labour only. On average 2hrs krend in to 1hr beading/scratching .will the sets be any quicker or slower with straight to block work. Thanks

Hi bigali if you call me tomorrow on 07773286659 I will go over the machines with you as a machine will always be faster than hand applied

I would get a ritmo @bigali
It's ideal for 60-80m2 of mono a day and will take a few hours to fire it on
You can easily get it in the back of your transit van on your own

if ur in a big gang like that @bigali and always do them sort of mts daily a PFT G4 package inc generator is your best bet. If you were in a smaller gang and moving round more on private jobs a Ritmo would suit. The advantage of using a machine is that it automatically mixes the gear takes it to the wall and puts it on. Have a think how that can benefit your little firm

Hi @bigali,

Great to see your looking to invest in a machine.

We stock a wide range of machines from 110v - 3 phase all the way to Diesel machines. We can therefore offer you the choice and advice to see which machine would suit your requirements best. If output is your key focus, the M330 has the best output as standard of 24l/min. All machine are held in stock and we also offer the option of hiring before you buy to see if the machine is perfect for your needs

We have 2 options on 3 phase machines, the EZE K4 which is a very similar version to the G4 you have mentioned. Also the m-tec M330 which in our opinion is the best Rendering machine available.

If you would like any further details, please do not hesitate to call us on 01242 236699 or, speak to our UK Sales and technical rep Dave Anderson on 07773286659

All the best,

Ryan

Best thing is to try them all ,if you can see them working on site it will give you a better idea of what you need ,best of luck

go ritmo power but find someone near you and go in with them for a day or two is best way to see what you want

If you are mostly site work and a gang of 3-4 then a G4.

I have a Ritmo which is ok for domestics.

No not site work, or very little at least. my issue would be if we were putting on say 60-70 bags of krend over a sand cement scratch coat and it took 6-7 hours then how long would the same men take with either a ritmo or equivalent mtech or a g4 or a m330. Would it make sense to still coat over sand cement or is it better to work over bare block

With a gang of 3 or 4 with that amount of m2 it has to be 3 phase mate, either G4 or Mtec 330 in my opinion.

Another 2 things are the main contractors think when u u scratch with sc motor then ur buying far less bags of dearer stuff, also when hand applied g we find we have to rub it with float to get it well closed in which in better weather is hard work as u Al will know

if you were going over sand and cement with K rend you would likely be putting on 12mm scraped back to 10mm Therefore a machine with a high output would be unsuitably fast and messy. Therefore a Ritmo at top speed will be ideal
Instead of using sand and cement as a base use the same material to lay a quick pass of about 5mm , trowel it flat straight away and lay your mesh to the stress points. Then double back on yourself straight away and spray a further 12mm which is ruled flat for scratching.

If you were slamming house after house of new blockwork with 17mm monocouche then maybe its time to get a 3 Phase machine. If you're doing a few of these and other work in between its ritmo everytime.

You have to do what suits you. do you need fast output day after day and have a nice big van to store a big 3 phase machine and generator etc and men available to move the machine every day or do you want something smaller that will do the same thing but with a little less power that can be used much more frequently.
use your last 5 jobs and see which would of suited best

Thank you bobby.

You are also clued up as you have the best of both worlds, a Ritmo and a G4.
