C'mon lads,
Just whack it on & trowel the c u n t up!
It's just plaster for f u c k s sake!
As pro plasterers we are supposed to be able to deal with any situation,
if it's going off a bit quick then deal with it!
If it's taking ages to go off then put more on & go back to sort it out.

I don't see what the big deal is with it?

If it goes off too quick bit of water & some elbow grease sorts it out no probs (no sponge floats please) ;D

so come on lads stop moaning about it & just get it on, it ain't rocket science!

Trouble is this is a forum for plasterers experienced or not so and little tips that people pick up to help avoid getting into trouble is the reason they come on here .
 
There was a fit blonde in the pub I used to go to (before they banned smoking) I offered her a job with a free uniform.

The uniform consisted of a pair of shoes.

Bang on just knock it up and lash it on.

Is it just me that does this if you got a load of part bags of multi and boardy just bang em up together.
Same with backing harwall tough coat bonding all in the same bucket.

my point exactly Pug it wouldn't be much of a forum would it ;D just bang it on , just rub it up and just lay it just about covers it all ;D tidy

Church are you on a period? this thread was because of all the moaning about multi of late which by the way was by experienced spreads.

that's exactly what I was getting at, it was experienced spreads moaning not beginners!
I'm all for helping people!

But listening to blokes who've been in the trade years moaning about skimming
on nearly every post is getting a bit boring now.

The longer you do this job the more you hate it matey.

I know I do, I f*ckin detest every minute of plastering.

This week just gone, I was working at Gary and Phil Neville's parents house, and all through the job all I could think was them lucky f*ckers get paid a week what I earn a year to play footy.

Yeah to get paid would be nice i have been doing a bit for a builder lately and he was owed 6 grand the bloke was saying that he wasnt gonna pay him because there was a problem with the plastering so i went around to look and the decorating was terrible they had painted the walls in silk paint not a good paint looked cheap crap and the light was shining down the wall picking out a few bumps so i said i would run a bit of filler over it to sort it ( i didnt even do the plastering my ex lab did it ) So I sent my mate round to do it and they refused to let him in then i heard that he had asked the builder if he could pay it off 100 a week cheeky b*****d havent got the money but his house is full of brand new stuff got a huge lcd tv he got 3 or 4 laptops so the builder went round to sort it out and basically said if you dont pay by monday i am gonna take everything in your house and he prob would as they are a bit mental.

Mine went off in 3 minutes begining of this year...i'd challenge any (french person) to hit anything in that time lol......i reverted to making cock sculptures with it.....and saved them for the gypsum rep
 
totally agree with nissus.... more elbow grease and less moaning... as for the blonde chic... just a distraction at work... plenty of them in the boozers in geordie land
