What is this in regard to damp? Is it snake oil or does it work? Some fella just mentioned it to me. Never heard if it

Just read about it and it was invented in 1965 lol so it never really took off coz I never heard of it check the site out but don't expect much info on it :)

It's like doc fluid frozen into push pops. Drill a big hole and push it in. While it melts the chemical soaks into the brickwork.

An old version of the new safeguard dri rods lol

Does anyone know if I can buy this in the shops. I have never seen it sold. Thanks. Does the company offer a guarantee.

i think its discontinued from the sound of it. theres just the site and thats it. no other info. i wouldnt trust it

The I****n damp proofers lol around here used to use it from what I remember. Heard one of them explaining to guy I was doing a loft for how it worked and how good it was. Put it this way, if you see anyone use it , they are even bigger numb nuts cowboys than your average cowboy . It's not as effective in winter I would assume

Freezteq are alive and well
Ah right. Don't know much about them. Was speaking to a bloke on holiday and he said it was the best damp remedy you could get but didn't say much more cos he was drunk. Where can you buy the stuff? Not for me I think brandon is interested.

Not even the Indians or Pakistani builders use it anymore mate. Spoke to a Safeguard rep this morning and he laughed his ass off about it think it's like a DIY gimmick you get in a Pound shop .

Either some online shops or direct from freezteq, you would hardly expect safeguard to say it's the best on the market @irish_spread, if you like at the amount of silicone that goes into the wall via freezteq than that of dry rod it's a no brainer, tell me what makes one more a diy gimmick than the other ? Each you drill a hole and insert a stick, one offers a guarantee the other doesn't from I can see

Thanks. Just curious why most people have not heard about it. Do you use it? If it's been about since 1965 somebody must use it

Ah c'mon lads! I deliberately don't look in the bullsh1t section so that I don't have to read the nonsense peddled by the 'specialists'. Please don't start threads on it in here. :crying:

Thanks everyone. GPS are you a registered installer and if so how much does it cost? It says they are looking for distributors and installers. It would be good to put in my adverts. Gps when ordering it says one box of 250 will treat 7 square metres of wall. Does that mean I have to drill 250 holes in those 7 square metres and inject the capsules? That would take forever would'nt it? Thanks. Can I PM you about it or give you my number?
