Hi I'm just having my garden planter silocone rendered, I've had it rendered down in the planter a bit, I'm planning on using tanking slurry on the inside, and also using some membrane, would I need to take the membrane over the render inside, or would the soil be ok touching it. Thanks

Personally I would have advised you to do the waterproofing before I rendered it, placing the bottom bead over it.

Plinths are usually advised for 150mm I think guess that’s how far water can travel against something that’s fairly waterproof
