hi all , was in Australia back in 2009, working in Perth, plastering (or wet plastering as its known there) and with aussie chick , life was peachy. Had some family trouble back here in blighty and came home, leaving the girlfriend there. December 2014 she came to visit me in the uk , and things are now bk on between us. So im looking on here to see if anyone on here has any plastering, or wet plastering as the aussies call it, contacts in the Sydney area ? ?? ?Am off out there for a holiday in march and would like to try and meet some people in the trade regarding getting on the trowel out there. I have a good little thing going on here with work, so don't really want to just walk away from the UK without having a few contacts / some work lined up when I eventually go over on a more long term basis later in the year.
I'm an experienced spread both inside and out , using M-tech's and G5's with monocouche render, sand and cement hand apply or sprayed. skimming and two coat inside work (or white set as its known out there)
any help would be greatly appreciated !! cheers

I would be in australia in a flash... Love the place...

If i was your age I'd be over there mate, you have to do it while you're young. Leave me the keys to the flat, Lee knows your forum password Milton keynes and jessop will be ringmaster. Sorted. Enjoy

We do have an Australian (Brit) on here but in Darwin. His name escapes me ( camz) ? He uses a Ritmo he imported in from PFT Northern. He is doing quite well with machine rendering. There is another guy in Melbourne on here but not on for a while, he has a PFT Ritmo XL.

I have been to Australia twice and what a fantastic place but way too hot for me. New Zealand is more my liking.

My mate works in Sydney for a drylining company send me a pm and I will give you his number his boss might have something but from what I gather not much wet plastering going on internally.
