Seem to be having problems with my genny, its as if the machine is struggling to get the power out it. It's a 5kva stephill and i just had it serviced and they said its a really good genny so why would i be getting problems with it? I know its the genny as ive hired a 6kva and machine runs perfect but when i switch back it seems to struggle. It's a strata ive got and other owners run it with a 5 kva so im stumped.

What machine ? filters ok ? leads all good ?

Machines getting plenty of water just the motor is struggling with the 5kva but doesn't with the 6kva but everyone else seems to be fine with the 5.

But why would the water filter affect the motor?

I don't think it would. I was just letting you know u have to clean the filter on the machine lol. But I think a 5kva is to small gen to run a machine tbh. It's like running a kettle on a 2.5 gen it will f**k it up.

6kva are fking massive though

That doesn't actually look that bad. The ones we get from hire shop are fking massive
Am thinking of buying that one 8kva should run the ritmo. I have a s**t gen to run the water pump if that 8kva did have problems running the 2.

Our 5kva genny runs our machine ok Stu. You could buy our whole set up and sell yours! [emoji106][emoji3]
