Skimming work is a fcking nightmare to get decent pics from. Doing a job at the moment and have taken few close up pics of my work but in pics, it looks s**t compared to the eye. Its even showing a watermark thats not even there to the naked eye. Anyone any tips on getting good pics of skimming work. Going to get a web-site done soon and wanted some nice pics on it.

Tbh your better off asking a customer that you've got on well with if you can pop back when painted and furnished and explain and offer them a bottlebof winevand choccysvir summet.

Finished plasterwork just kooks like a cave and shite!
 
Best time to take pics of skimming is when it starts to dry other than that when it's completely dry .

But painted looks the best

Google images is quite good ;) before and after a or your wasting your time nobody wants to see a plastered wall on its own.

Personally I think painted work shows a better impression. Before and afters, just make sure your afters are good quality. If it's a new build or any property then take them off the estate agents website. Probably illegal , I've used a few dozen off agents . Still waiting to get sued [emoji25]
 
Yeah I throw a 500 quid camera and tripod in my van,in fact why not employ a professional photographer? :lol:
