Ime building an elliptical room on job in metal stud and its being lined with British Gypsum Glassroc F Multiboard has anyone ever skimmed over this and know of any potential problems.

why was it a streaker ;D.........it's bad there on most days mate especially southbound .. how did the job in brizzle go?

There was an guy sitting outside the railings threatening to jump. The bridge was closed northbound and traffic was queued to Brent Knoll and beyond. Was at UWE for a day and a half, and half of the first day was induction and an asbestos awareness seminar (that's scary stuff). Only had 90 mtrs to joint, so went on to Hemel on Weds afternoon.

Lucius. I've jointed Glasroc before and the setting compound does suck in quickly, so I reckon you'd have fun skimming it.

Thanks Tony, didnt think it was tapered thats why ime thinking of skimming it as you would have to go pretty wide on butt joints on a curve to make it look any good and the cliet is fussy.

Have skimmed over it Lucius,Used board finish and came out fine,no probs.

ive skimmed glasroc on curves before, rough side out pva to kill sucky then multi no probs
