As Title, someone who can skim to a decent finish and mix fast as well as bead up and clean. comon lads, looking for work. Ta!!:RpS_biggrin:

What do you mean andy , would not trust plasterers to bead up LOL

It's quite easy Henry, every house I've done in the last twenty years including all those I've let out to subbies, I've beaded myself. That way I've already spotted any potential problems or things missed by other trades, oh and I also know that the beads are exactly where I want them. If a wall isn't finished to a high enough standard I can always quite easily do something about it but if someone puts the beads up pissed then it's a major job putting things right.

if they couldnt bead id fcuk em off

Thing is Gary you don't know til it's to late do you, and like I said because I'd done all the prep anything that needed sorting was done before they went in, everyone's a winner.

Hey Andy ive beaded every job ive done for the last 20 years and i agree its the best way and if i was workin for you i wouldnt let you do my beading coz if i do myself I've already spotted any potential problems or things missed by you, oh and I also know that the beads are exactly where I want them. If you were to work for me it wouldn't be a case of you not letting me bead for you would it, as it would be up to me to decide who does the beading, the same as it would be for me to put the beads where I want them not where you might want them. This has always worked well for me and not one single person has ever moaned at not getting to put their own beads up or that I've put them up pissed.

Then pay me £70 a day :). labouring must be easier now than it was in the early 80s, 25kg bags and not 50 kgs bags, machines that will mix for you and not a piece on 2x1 and a podger, only ball ache there is that you have to fek about with 110 tyranny's and cables. and whats all this board lifters s**t, and stilts, whats up with brute strength and old 25 ltr cans or beer crates and planks. To me it seems like a lab job is easier now than it was
