Hi guys, first post go easy on me, been viewing the forum for a while now.

Might be a stupid question but, are there any regs on using gypsum backing coats on
grade 2 listed properties.

Any help would be appreciated.

i'd tread carefully mate i wouldnt advise anyone id rather be instructed to do work like that

Isnt there a spec? and at a guess i doubt it but might be wrong but not usually ;)
 
i looked at a job turned out to be a grade 1 listed . all had to be lime and permission for every job . builders had to take a brick floor up each brick had to be numbered and put back in order .good money in it i would imagine
 
Grade 2 listed buildings have different things attached to them, some are only listed on the external surfaces. You need to speak to the conservation officer before you start or quote for the job.
