Does any of you lads know when this green deal is going to kick off properly I've been promised work since February and the lad I work for keeps on saying there still waiting for funding ????

I think its more they are struggling to sign people up.
Everyone i know is on eco

Was told today that by a green deal energy assessor that funding is due to start being released from late May.

Beware Green Deal is going to be a slow burner and don't expect to get flooded with lots of work. Eco will be the priority to start with and we are just seeing the first schemes coming through.

I can't see it taking off to be honest. Its a nightmare of a scheme.

ECO been going for ages, its just the funding that finished in winter, its due to be released more funding any day/month/yr now as they keep saying - I think some funding has come through and ECO work has started again in some parts
