Hi guys, I'm getting through the process ok and happy with the finish. However.
Occasionally I look at the finished wall and it looks good....then a few hours later small patches imperfections blemishes etc appear as if when filling them with fat it's too runny and trickled away if that makes sense?
Any suggestions??

Thanks

Cheers man, I had wondered that. Out of interest then, what is it about a thin coat that causes this?

i don't ever fill with fat... I always leave small amount on the spot board/ligger for filling :-)

Some days however you will leave a surface perfect and the following day you will walk in and think how the feck did I miss that......

All the filling should be done before you get to the 'fat' stage,it would be worth doing what danny says and save a bit of gear or make your sets smaller and more manageable:RpS_thumbup:

Great advice! When leaving a bit on the spot board, can I keep adding and working water into it to keep it gooey? Or just get all the filling done as kgre says
