January always is a strange month for work and enquiries for jobs , gut feeling is the year started out quite well tbf , some years haven’t had a single call until after most people’s first monthly pay cheque which is this week , so am glad to of scraped through this month with work
Will be glad to see the back of January
Got to be the crapiest month of any year

Best month I've had all year. I've been scraping along looking for the right man to work for all year. Because I don't fit neatly into a category, it can be difficult to find a boss who appreciates my talents.

One good customer has turned things around for me.

I always have to f**k lad of in Jan. Once that first big job comes in then it's happy days . Though I.m enjoying steady little jobs at min.

Sunday Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday ....... Thats 7 days minus Friday and Sunday = 5 days. Even with Saturday excluded it is still 4 days

John you had better go and do a basic maths course before you start altering prices otherwise you never know where you may end up. :D

I only work mon to wed half day fri and most sundays

'Tis true. I dislike bosses and dislike companies more. Always wanting you to work for your money, the necky bastards. This little job suits me just fine. Right on my doorstep, the money man in Dublin - we agree a list of jobs when I see him, I give him prices for them and I do as much or as little as I want.

Simple.

I've been paid...the man was up with an inch of fifties for me yesterday.

Lick his boots and bend over for him them are the bosses you want................Usually get the ones who want 50 other jobs done after you have finished or I will pay you end of month which runs into 6. West of Ireland attitude terrible.

Don't undersell yourself Steve IMO there's a category you fit into very neatly. Right alongside @lurpak :p
