Do you guys who use them all the time use the 0.6 one or the 1.2 one more than the other? im gonna get one or maybe both but i have small straight edges that are only takin up space in my van coz ive never used them so do i need to waste my money buying both? And before you say it yes i am a tight c**t :)

a straight edge smaller than a metre aint a straight edge you tight f'cker... its called 'a bit of metal' :RpS_laugh:

Rang them today they have them in stock she said somethings cant be ordered on line.

If you have a steel stockist that stocks alli nearby you could maybe get 3metre length for a good price and cut it up into the lengths you want.

You only need it to be 1m or 1.2m, you use it flatten semi hard render in the same way you would use a floor edge but smaller scale obviously.

I got my pretty quick flynnyman ,if you got a machine laid on I will give you a day just to see the crack with the machine and it's local job not site work.

ive got the 5ft one flynn they are good to use very ridgid though just takes a bit to get used to feather edges feel a bit flimsy at times when ruling

ring Gemma at lord and downing in yorkshire, les stokes them and cheaper than refina infact he stocks every tool you will ever need.

ME use a machine naaaaaaaaaaaa im too tight lol im doing it by hand mate its only a small job and yesterday i went past a couple of guys krending a bungalow so stopped for a chat then called past at the end of the day to see how they got on, they had 13 bags of krend and 6 bags of basecoat over, got it off them for £30 and its just enough for my little job happy days even more profit :)

Right i'm a little confused (i know not difficult) is it an h section you want for ruling of renders and backing coats or is it an I section for scraping back mono

Its the section for scraping back warrior and rich the gear is ivory and the client was told white but ive changed his mind :)

Im driving past monday Flinn, what if i pick you up and we go for a pizza and maybe the cinema if we got time. I hear Tron is good

Can we stick to the name H-rule please as we have I-sections also.

Trust me it will save wasetfull threads later and web space with confused posters wanting to know about rendering. Thanks lads.

Look at me acting like a MOD ha ha, I dont ever want to be one cos I would have to go to the round teble dinners with richardbrown
