Does the bodywork last a bit better on them ? cos i think trannies start rusting soon as they leave the showroom

I have a Nissan Primastar which is the same vehicle as the Vivaro and to this day its still going strong no major issues, mate of mine has a new shape Transit ok its done over 100,000 miles and he has just had a new engine in plus egr valve plus gear cable linkages and its still runs like a bag of nails. If i was to buy another van then i would buy the same again.

I thought it was dogs that are supposed to look like their owners.

Not sure, what you think

Had a couple of trannies

iv got 94k on my 02 tranny now and all iv replaced is tyres, brake pads and disks once and a starter motor. i think everyone has hada van that never dies and a van you have to drag around yourself

The syncromesh has gone on my gearbox and apparently is cheaper to get a secondhand box mines defo on its last legs.... av been saying im gonna keep it 4 one more year and that was 2 year back
