I sometimes just throw it on with me hand board / hawk only if its big area then straighten up with trowel get job done quicker WHAT YOU SAYING BAD BOYS
 
I detonate a pipebomb in a wheelie bin full of skimming.
class,, i cant believe ive been plastering over 30 years and never tried these methods of getting the gear on the wall,,, its true you do learn something new every day,, thanks to tpf i can see my working day getting so much easier ,, thanks lads :RpS_thumbsup:, safco i can see your thread changing my life forever, :RpS_unsure:
 
Sometimes i think about using me handboard and sometimes i think about using me trowel and sometimes just sometimes i think fook it and just go home :RpS_thumbup:
 
i have another invention in my head aswell that involves a tape measure

A lot of us cut plasterboard by holding the tape and knife and run it along like this...

I thought a tape measure with an attachment in the end that the blade could fit into would be handy.
Board mate didnt really work I thought
