Happy to help one of our fellow member John Swain to get his Level 2 Plastering NVQ.

As John has found out that more and more sites are not allowing access without workers holding their Blue CSCS card or above.

John has tried all college and has been unsuccessful due to public funding finished.

I have managed to successfully secure funding for John in order to get him his NVQ and get back onto site work.

@Geason. Hi Lynn I have a couple of blokes who have been issued red temporary cscs cards as they won't let you on site now by just obtaining a site operative card. I'm still concerned that they won't let them on a new job next week with these as they are not taking a nvq at the moment. Is the funding part funding or is the course fully funded and do you come out to site to assess whoever is taking the course. Many thanks
 
I need a nvq 2 aswel. Need someone to come out on site. Don't know how long I can blag just having the pass paper and saying I'm waiting for my card for. Is there any funding down the south ?? @Geason

The funding depends where you are based and if you are citb registered.
Your me will be allowed onsite with the res card, just say they are enrolled for their nvq and are awaiting onsite assesment. But you must get them enrolled as the red card only lasts 12 months and only supplied once.

Send me your name and number and i will you on monday, yes there is funding available but i need to speak to you first to determine how much, it comes down to the area you live in, if your employed or self employed etc. but dont worry i will be able to draw down some sort of funding to get you your nvq.
