Well went to book a job in today and feck me some other fecker started it. What was strange they even let me in and
showed me the room were this other guy had started. He should have used renderlite on the walls instead he used hardwall . He told them hardwall is the same as renderlite fecking chancer. They went on to say he was £50 cheaper then me. I just said no worries your house and left as they was trying to pump me for information about hardwall.

a gypsum plaster after a dampproof course?
wont last so long that, you dont have to use limelite you can use sand cement but using a gypsum plasters the biggest gaff going.
theyll be calling you shortly to rectify it,then you can tell them to feck off and get a nice warm feeling inside whilst telling them.

Do you know what I always try and be fair with everyone (do unto others as you would be done by). Over the years I have worked on 3 of the houses they have bought and sold and in the present house this was the last room to be done. Like the song says "That;s Life".

So dricoat is shite then?cement based all additives in after injection that's what it claims in data

I have not seen renderlite over here or limelite and never heard of a dpc coat. That is not to say they are not in use. We are of the belief that all single leaf walls must be able to breath so any material that prevents the wall from breathing is a no no for some here. Do not worry about loosing that job. Most of my work is ripping off cement renders and gypsum plasters and re doing them in lime plasters and renders.

Yes sand and cement is fine but if you get a chance to use renderlite or dri coat try it .
