"The construction training centre" based in Nuneaton near coventry, I was made redundant yesterday and i am due to start there on a 4 week plastering course 05th January. I completed a city and guilds college course 5 years ago but decided to use this 4 week course to get as much time on the trowel as possible before undertaking some jobs in my own house and then moving into the trade with hopefully a time served plasterer. I reckon my redundancy money should last me 6 months by which time things may have improved (hopefully) by then also looking at tiling as another service that could be offered but will see how the plastering goes first.

I was just interested to hear if anybody has heard of these as a provider and if they are any good

i think courses are a fantastic way to get into the trade ......they will teach you all you need to know and really build youre confidence .........go for it ;)...........there great :)

bad time to get into plastering unless your teaching and mopping up peoples redundancy money. as im sure your aware the building trade is the first thing to go in a ressession
