Personaly i prefer to keep my hawk light and go for more,if u use a large hawk ur putting more pressure on ur wrist.
when im on the stilts ill use a large hawk so i dont have to keep bendng over the spot th e other side of the room.
You dont see many sparrow hawks about now days do ya???????

why not try some 22mm copper pipe cut 4 pieces at whatever size you want,
mine are 20 inches then put them on spot stand & board on top.
No more bending

I've been using this method for years, I can't understand why people are so willing to struggle. I also have some cut to get the spot board just above handrail height on outside renders.
