What type of Hawk do most of you lads use,them poly plastic type ones or the ally sort,my two chums at work both have plastic jobbies and tell me my ally one is shite and they cant get on with um.......

a fella i used to work with had one of them polly ones and in the summer he left it in the van and it fukin melted haha went a stupid shape

m town 18 inch for backing goes nice with my 20 inch trowel. and a small m town for skimming as i only skim with smallest m town trowel

think its that size only its not 4 inch wide any more. its about 3.5 now gon real narrow had it bout 7 year floted with it aswell until bout a year ago now its my baby . treat er with loadsa tlc. love it. i get lots of pressure on it wen trowel gets th skim nice and flat. peaople look at me strnge on site

i had one and i found that when you get a build up of skim on it, it would just scab off?

Used them for a while now, they keep their shape better when using sand & cement.
