Hello fella's, my name is Stu and i'm from Forres, Nr Inverness. I've just left the submarine service after 22 years and i did a few weeks plastering with UK Trades Training as "resettlement" for leaving the forces. The reason i did the course along with tiling and plumbing was i bought a house that needs some serious renovation work over the next year or so.
I just ordered all my platering tools from JLS, i thought i would give the "OX" trowels a try as they seem reasonably priced and i've got a paddle mixer etc coming too.
I wont be rushing the work as i like to get out quite a bit shooting and ferreting rabbits, much to the wifes frustration but after 22 years under the waves i intend to make some "me time", the wife can go out and earn a living full time now :RpS_thumbsup:
Anyway, thanks for accepting me onto the forum, no doubt i will on here to sponge as much info as i can :RpS_wink:
