Hello all I'm Rich from Firswood Builders(Wolverhampton)just saying hello and after some advice.we've recently built an extension for a regular client which was finished externally with tyrolean he has now asked us to blow over the rest of the house to match.The walls have been painted on top of previous Tyrol,unsure weather to sbr and thin coat then Tyrol or to chance just trol your advice would be much appreciated as the people at k-rend won't advise on remedial !! Hack it off then do it as you would or base coat it mesh it pin it then top it, what pet of wolves you from?

I done this a while ago, got the decorator to rub wall down with a wire brush. Then I mixed up a strong slurry with sbr in it think ratio was 2 sand 1 cement and loads of sbr in it, and sprayed it on. I'm struggling to remember exact ratios but it was done about a year ago and hasn't fallen off yet. Search scud coat and that might help you out.
