Hi

I'm nearing 30 and in a bit of a deadend job that I hate so looking for something different. I've got a few things I want to try, plastering being one. Im looking for some experience and I'm willing to work for free on days off to see if I like it and to get some insight. I'm in fife so can travel to Edinburgh/Midlothian or up to Tayside. I was going to able skills or GT for a 4week course but I can't afford to waste 2k.

Thanks.

I did do electrical engineering at college but found it boring. I like to be hands on and sitting in a class doing maths 30hrs a week was a nightmare. Plumbing just makes me think of fixing toilets clogged with s**t. I've been reading the forum and I've seen a few posts saying not to get into it etc but the job I'm in now involves getting hurt a fair bit and all for £1300 a month any job is better than mine :(

Work with guys with special needs such as autism. So getting slapped about is a part of my job. After 2 years in this job and 5 in one similar I'm done im mentally broken.

Thanks.
