Hi im new to the forum. Am doing a large extension at home and for inner skin thermalites id like to use thistle hardwall. But how to deal with high suction? Can i go straight onto thermalites with hardwall. I e used rendaid on the outer blocks before rendering but very expensive. Any advice would be welcome. Cheers Simon

I’m kicking this back up the what’s new list...
DoT & dab internal
Stop complaining about expense of rend aid which is no extra ££ on an extension total price tag

Just wet it lightly and bang on , I wouldn’t have bothered with rendaid outside either

For an amateur
Seal with gypprime or grit or better.

If you're bitching about expense, not much hope. Dampen down with water.

Good chance you'll have a mare over thermalites.

Please post finished pictures. This could be the best one yet. Amateur floating thermalites and then skimming onto hardwall. Brilliant
