Help!!

Hi Everyone

I'm after some advice, I recently chopped off some tiles in my kitchen to reveal a load of shite. Some areas have a bit of finish left on, some have the old grout and some areas it's browning. I'm after putting glass onto the wall but only 300mm around the worktops. What would you suggest me do to get a nice finish for painting above the glass? Can I just put bonding plaster over everything then skim it?

Many thanks

Nathan

Wet it all down first then scrape the old tile adhesive off, wet it again and mix 50/50 bonding to board finish and top with board only

If you’re asking whether to pva then I would assume you’re diy-ing this? If that’s the case don’t get down lights, they will highlight every small error. Genuine advise, not being nasty
