This is Mrs Gooner in desperate need of help as no one can answer my questions! The builders merchants appear to be manned by idiots!!!! This is for sand/cement/integ waterproofer render at a 3:1 ratio. I want a total of 7 cubic metres (area x depth) The ratio is therefore 5.25 cubic metres of sand and 1.75 cubic metres of cement. As I've over estimated, I am happy to allow 5 and 1.5 respectively. I cannot establish how many bags of cement in a cubic meter anywhere. How can you use cubic metres for sand (cos its not advisable to go by weight due to water content) and then go to weight for cement. If you can't establish how many bags of cement in a cubic metre, what are you sposed to do?? Simple answers boys please, after all I am a woman!!! How many bags of cement for 5 cubic metres of sand for a 3:1 ratio. Wheres Gooner when you need him? Thanks

1.5t to a cubic meter mrs gooner :),

1.125kg sand
375kg Cement

15 cement bags at 25kg a bag per m3
so for 1.75m3 26-27 cement.

Don't mind these men the plaster dust has settled in the wrong places ;)
