Just to introduce myself Dennis from Nottingham and to say that I am not a plasterer by trade but have done a considerable amount, have been in the building trade all my life. Have been doing a project for the past six years in France and now reached the stage where I have monocouche to do and can't make my mind up if to handball it on or machine. Any help would be appreciated regarding machine hire, which one and taking into consideration the labourer is the wife. Would it be better to hand mix, obviously money is always an issue but I would quite enjoy it either way. Unlike yourselves I don't do it every day, ps:RpS_biggrin: never done monocouce before.

Welcome along Dennis

Great and honest intro - Good luck to you!

I am sure that you will get some advise from guys on here.... in the mean time, have a look at the machine and rendering sections. Also, do some searches

all the best
