I have just had my house rendered with parex monochouce, I can now see my block work called ghosting. Would coating it with parex Paraguard stop this.

Don't put paraguard on it as you need to put more render in and I wouldn't fancy rendering over paraguard

paraguard is a clear protection coat from.the weather elements.

1stly i would check you havent got any water ingress getting to the blockwork.

ghosting blockwork.joints are usually caused by render applied over damp blockwork in 1 coat.

do you know what blockwork.was used?

We have used 7 newton blocks. Will it dry out overtime or is it always there.

I was hoping the paraguard might be a damp repellent

It is a new build so there should be no damp issues. It was only done just over a week ago, do you think it needs more time to dry ?

It could have been put on too thin if the blockwork joints are showing through.

An equalising paint will cure it. Or try Parex colour wash.
