Hi everyone, just joined. I have a couple of questions to ask please. I completed a city & guilds level 2 diploma in plastering (solid) in july 2013 with a distinction. I'm currently studying a CSkills level 2 diploma in maintanence operations. In september I will be starting my CSkills level 3 diploma in plastering. I wondered is it more theory or practical based? I will be paying for the course so wondering what I will gain exactly from doing it. Also is it really worth doing an NVQ 3 in plastering or will the diploma be just fine or does the NVQ have more weight to it, after I have finished the course I shall be going for my cscs card to work on site, but wondered what colour card would I get being as I would only have a diploma rather than an NVQ.

How do Bexter and welcome along. When i did my advanced craft many moons ago it was day release it was practical all day till teatime then theory till 8pm. Defo worth doing if you ask me but not a clue for cscs thing as i dont have one or plan to get one either as domestics and few commercials only for me pal :RpS_thumbup:

Hi Marshy thanks for your reply, sounds like a lot of practical work then. What I like to hear :D I haven't ruled any option out as of yet where I want to be mainly based for work
