not got much experience with screeding floors and damp but as this is for a mate so i thought ide give it a go. its a small hallway, all the tiles have lifted and the concrete floor underneath has crumbled, there is also some very minor damp on 1 interior wall in the hall.. any suggestions on how far to dig down, what to use to bring back up to level, to use a membrane in the floor and on the walls? whether or not to inject the brick?? any help would be greatly appreciated.

Gun up the old floor screed , put down a couple of coats of black jack and return it up the wall , make sure the plastered walls dont come below the floor srceed level and re screed it , you can also use a plastic mebrane if you want .

dig down as far as you can without using a 25gk breaker laaa...
that'll equate to the depth of the screed...
then do as church said...
blackjack is synthetic bitumen paint...
paint it up the wall so it comes up higher than the finished floor level... as in 'return it up the wall'...

church only speaks 'spreadish'.. :RpS_wink:
