i'm a plasterer / renderer / tiler and instructor at Goldtrowel, Met a few of you guys and decided to sign up and see whats happening on here. lots of stuff going on i see..........:rolleyes)

No he means float skim everyone calls it float skim unless youve been on a 2 week course and want to be a bit technical about it

I mean use a poly float when trowelling up skim. No need, just no need.

hey Beddy sorry mate for taking ages..... when going over artex some of the old guys used to use a float to put the second coat of skim up crosshatching, we just show it, the floats flat and it helps it go up a bit thicker, its not the be all and end all, comes out lovly though on deep patterns...cheers
