I learnt to plaster last spring, at trades4you at gatwick, good course, no one thought I'd manage, but I love plastering, its better than being a typist in an office!! my results are getting pretty good, but need to get faster, still takes me 6 hours to do a 5m x 3m ceiling. Mel my hubby & I have been building a house for the past 2+ years. I've been doing the plastering, tiling (inside walls & roof!) etc etc. I leave my full time job next week to finish the job of the house & then strike out on my own. Looking for comments on stilts, I'd like to try some, but himself says no!! thats how I found this site! mostly i do skimming, although i've replaced plaster in a kitchen, where the plaster had blown.
