I have 47 sqm to do on a gable end would it be best to spit it in 2 with a bead or could I do it in 1 there will be 2 putting on 1 mixing could o seal it to give me more time thanks ?

Me n a lab have done 50+m gables before by hand,I hate it tbh but needs must. Both were next day scrapes mind in winter so that took a little pressure off. You should be fine with two spreads just make sure u keep a wet edge.

No problem doing that by hand. I've finished 70 + by hand and am not the quickest. Just have the right set up. If you can get a machine in. Better finish

The thought of doing 70+m2 by hand, on my own, is painful enough without even attempting it. I sprayed a 70m2 panel with full mesh on Friday with a lab, and that was bad enough.

AV seen people use the top coat to scratch with I have only used base coat is there any advantage in using the top coat for the first scratch coat ?

I've never used the top coat as a scratch.

I have used parex with mesh then finished off with 10mm the next day

70 not bad I did 140 once only took couple of hours don't know why people bother with machines

It would take me two hours to mix up 140 bags never mind getting it on the wall
