i was taught to jus use skim to hold em :'(

nails are a getuouttheshit solution...even then theres better ways...

I have been using staples for along time until recently finding with the slightest knock and they fall off :( I have gone back to nailing them on as they seem to get a better hold, even on reskim when the walls are hard what i do is use wire clips and take the plastic bit off and just use the nails as they seem to go into anything, makes life alot easier when everything is set up in front of you before you start mixing.

I use nails find is does the job well...staples is probably a bit quicker will try this next time i guess 12mm would do the job.

Staples are good on metal stud, If you ever tried nailing beads onto metal stud you will understand. but like i said it cant take much of a beating and the sites i have been working on lately the slightest little knock and there off.

i apply the grip fill to the beading, not the wall, then push on to the corner and it stick like shite, you could probably plaster straight away, dosnt take long to go off. works a treat when sticking stop beads to 120 angles on olds walls,

carpenters use it to fix skirting boards, you can buy it from srcew fix, builders merchants not sure about b and q also wickes do there own version

Theres also pinkgrip and no more nails, its also used for sticking plasterboard to steel as your not supposed to use dri wall adhesive on steel.
