How many trowels

Most spreads on here seem to get two coats on give it two trowel ups, then that's finished,I've never counted how many times I've troweled a wall/ceiling, i go over it loads of times,is it cos your on price and the prices are sh it or do you do it regardless.

I give my walls 2 trowels. And a good dry trowel b4 I go home r the next morning. Ps I use the speedskim so if u want to call that a trowel that's 3 trowels

First of all I thought no way but yea I think your right ,using a s/skim must count as one

My uncle and old boss would wanna shoot some of you guys ... All it needs is 2 trowels after 2nd coat, i cant understand how you guys cant keep going over the same gauge. baffles me. Maybe a polish if needs be.

On to plumb flat board or floated wall scratch it, lay it on, lay it in then a wet trowel by which i mean wipe the brush over the trowel before each stroke. nearly forgot dry cross trowel

My routine is lay on, flatten, lay in, 1 trowel, 2nd trowel ... next gauge. on any background, re-skim, board, sand cement whatever.

I always like to stay in front/trowel wet gear if I left as long as possibley could I recon yeah 2...

BUT...

genrealy for me once both coats on a quick pass, pass after brushing angles, 3rd which if using steel would be a wet trowel, 4th a dry trowel end of set

today btw speedskim and 2 trowels with plazi
