how to IVOICE?

Hiya lads, i need to start doing some invoices for customers,
whats the main things to put on the paper.
I will be doing them on my laptop. Any guides please or an example

Also include payment method and timeline. Include everything you done, that way any probs in areas you never touched aren't your responsibility

Google easy invoice its a good program for 20 quid and it keeps all ur records for tax + vat etc
