HI all would these set ups be good enough to do most domestic HSL or do you prefer your using step ladders and planks? Me and me mate was gonna go half on one?

they are cack mate, i was using one to do a ceiling last week and came a cropper twice, mind you the floor was uneven so that didn't help, and i was rushing so that didn't help either, and i was trying to move it while holding my trowel and handboard full of gear so i probably didn't set it right.....but they are still cack:RpS_unsure:

there sh1t mate use one of those step ladders that are also a normal ladder and a plank usually back on to a hop up.you want the ladder the plank sits on to be at its lowest setting so you can do most of the wall its leaning on then you shud be able to patch in off the stairs.

windy are you skint?what happens if your mate leaves you?bad idea get a grip and stop being a minge bag lol!!

I've always used a 3in1 ladder like rock says, with a plank.I usually cut a length of 3x2 just a few mil bigger than it needs to be then hammer it in place & it holds my weight on the ladder maybe use screws if you feel unsafe but it shouldn't move I sometimes put a screw in each side. But you should be alright unless your beddy :RpS_biggrin:This way you can do the wall in one go no patching where the ladders been resting then when it's set take the 3x2 off & lean ladders on that wall to do the rest.I put them cheapo sponge knee pads on the top of ladder to protect the wall :RpS_thumbup:
