has anyone done this want to use it then top off with a bucket coat but want to get it nice an flat or is it better serrating it

There is a vid on YouTube of that lad in Cheltenham doing it (Wellfair)?

I have done it but not with Weber. Although Weber ocr shouldn’t be a problem.

I serrate edge to flat, spat smooth, 2-3mm proud.

Then as it has got stiffened up so not too slump when you touch it, I ibar to flat.

Dont wait like you would with mono before ibarring, it needs to be wetter. As soon as you open it up the air starts to dry it. Have someone going over it with a plastic float as soon as you can or you will struggle.

Only my opinion but I wouldn’t bother myself can’t see the point at all , did use a I bar on an ocr I did last year but only on a very small wall bit that I kind of didn’t get finish because it was so cold and pitch dark ( tbh it was close to freezing), I did it the next morning and it did come up nice but in this heat I think you’d get in a right mess trying tbh

Av done it loads if tines as John said. It's nice to ibar ready for bucket coat
