i hate brick layers

Went to start a job today new build which I'm doing in krend I'm using 15mm beads ,started first g
able and as soon as I got to the first weep hole-vent I new I had a problem it was sticking out 5mm as cemented solid next was 20mm and so on is .is it to much trouble for them to either leave them all the same at a decent depth or just bloody leave them loose and the spred will sort it out .but mind you most brickies don't have any brains anyway .

god the time spent chiselling those mfing things out to loosen to set properly!! Pain in the arse but is exactly the thing that will let you down if you don't sort em and it looks like you just came along and said f**k it nothing to do with me and carried on regardless. Drags your work down if you don't care bout stuff like that imho.

last job i did like that i smashed them out... gentley there were about 15 right across the rear elevation... i told the guy to buy new ones which he did... we put them in loose then rendered with mono around them... then when scraping back i tapped them flush with the face of render... i also set the levels with a string/chalk line so they were all level... i added 3 hours day work on the job as the home owner was a perfectionist...
