i know the rule about prices but ?

hi would be intrested to know what sort of prices your paying for your gear im sure my local merchants keep pulling my pants down with there prices ? or is this a taboo subject if so i`ll stand in the corner like a naughty boy :rolleyes)

All merchants are a rip off, but if you have a tradecard the prices are pretty similar to wickes and b n q etc/ but **** it, I cant be arsed worrying about prices nowadays, its all going up and our wages aint, not worth getting worked up about it no more!

I got £80 off a pond for my old man and loads of other bits just because I told them I did not want to pay retail

The merchants are just as struggling so will always do deals

the guy i worked for today bought 7 bags of multi and 9 skim beads came to 70 quid at travis, of course i asked him did he remember to lube up his arsehole before he went in

I did a job a while ago and went to travis as was close to the job. Think I got 6 multi, 6, 3m corner beads, a roll of scrim and some plasterboard nails. Came to just under 80 squid :O If I had gon to B&Q it probably would of been under 50!

If you want to save money on skim buy a pallett at wicks and take it as you need it , they let you do that.
