About 6 years ago i went to see a job it was a new build, winter was just setting in and the guy says he wants smooth render with free hand bands i said ok ill get a scratch on it when the weather suits got this done and he starts moaning im not on the job top coating & banding hasnt started i say its f**king -4 out side so any way i said get some other idiot to do it walked of ,drove past a few months later render falling of every where ,any way was watching build a new life in the country on channel 5 here this guys started up his own plastering company and to my delight gets kicked of the job in front of tv cameras did anyone see this .and do any of you guys have any clients as full of sh*t as this guy
 
Had a firm moaning the floor screed wasn't getting laid until I showed them that the sand was frozen right through. Some years ago one winters mourning it was -7 so no work to do, so went for a drive around a few of the jobs we had on the go, got to the first one and there were the brickies laying bricks (managed to lay about 4 bricks before smashing the frozen muck of their boards) arrived at second job and there was an Artexer doing some stipple which was crystallising on the ceiling (looked very pretty) and then at the third job the brickies were lighting fires around their water tanks there was steam coming of them, to melt the sand chunks in the mixer.
I headed for the pub it was nice and warm there. :D
 
well i was subbing exterior texture coatings in australia from a guy it was flar render prime in colour and top coat a finished colour product quite an intense type work.he send us out to a job on a new estate couldnt find the house called him he said its there ask in sales office which we did, we found the slab where the house is gonna be.so now im fuming coz i already knew the guy was a numpty and i call him.he was nt in the slightest embarresed but asked us what the approx measurent will be i just pissed my self and made a number uo.end of right no a few months later hed sent another crew to the house and they didnt like his measurement so he called me up and bollo cked me about my measure i told him to ram it
